My name is Mrs. Elizabeth Maino and I have been teaching at Torrence Creek Elementary School since it first opened in 2005. My husband and I are the proud parents of two beautiful daughters, Ashley and Mackenzie. We also have three adorable pets; Snickers, Paisley, and Ginger.
In 1998, my teaching journey began in Hillsborough, New Jersey where I taught second grade. After a few years of teaching first and second grade in New Jersey and Nevada, my family and I finally found beautiful North Carolina in 2004. I taught 3rd grade at Long Creek Elementary and then moved to Torrence Creek when it opened in 2005. I eagerly joined my new third grade team and we set sail on a new and exciting adventure. Two years later, in 2007, I received my M.S.Ed. degree. This year, I am very excited to begin a new journey teaching first grade with such an amazing team.
As the excitement of a new school year fills the air, I look forward to a wonderful year of growth, discovery, and many exciting learning experiences. I am looking forward to working with you and your child in reaching his or her full potential. Thank you in advance for your support and assistance. If you ever need to contact me, please send a message to [email protected] or call the office.
